BIG MARLEY’S UFC 237 DRAFTKINGS FANTASY BREAKDOWN
This weekend, we’ve got a 12-fight PPV card at Brazil. DraftKings has some solid contests for us to acquire a great deal of cash from this week. The most important GPP is a $15 buy and $30k belongs to 1st place with a total of $150k being paid out. They also have a new Qualifier only contest for $175,000. There’ll be 100 qualifiers for that contest and they’ll compete for a $50k first location price and $175k will be spread out between all 100 entries that match. I will attempt to get my 3rd seat this week to maximum it if I could. Those Qualifier only contests can be actual bankroll suckers, so be careful chasing those overly hard. I will likely stick to the very best GPP this week and throw a small number of entries at that $30k decoration, and then I will probably take a few shots in the Q. I will also be publishing H2Hs in addition to picking up H2Hs throughout the week to get a good quantity of drama into money games.
With that said, let’s get to a couple plays I enjoy this week along with my fade of this week:
Cash Game play of this week — Raoni Barcelos — $9,600
Barcelos is your money game play on for me this week. On the betting line he is currently -1100 and he’s -206 to win ITD. He is additionally +110 to win in round 1. He’s my favorite play on the board, the sole issue is being able to afford him. For money games, I will for sure fit him . For GPPs it will be harder to have 6 wins paying for his huge salary, but I enjoy him as well. I just won’t make it a priority to get him into those championship lineups, but cash I want that -1100 on my team to get a safe win.
GPP drama of the week — Ryan Spann — $8,800
This is a battle I’d like to target. My preferred drama is Spann however Little Nog is in play also. The best thing for FDGTD is -280 and that I believe Spann can win via KO or sub, and it could be 1st round too. I believe he can compete with the 9k fighters and he could be a man that kicks them off the 1st location lineup. Small Nog is the better boxer though and Spann doesn’t have a fantastic chin himself, so that I really could see Nog winning via KO. I really don’t think that’s likely, so that I will not be thick on himbut he will make my participant pool. Spann is a man I think is in play in all formats and that I will try to be overweight on him. It is more of a fade on Little Nog at this time, but I don’t see this fight going all 3-rounds and I like Spann to get the win.
Underdog play of this week — Alex Volkanovski — $7,800
On DraftKings, I anticipate Volkanovski to be very chalky and rightfully so. He’s my favorite play in this fight and his past scores pretty much make him a guy you can not fade if you are MMEing. I really don’t see him using the ceiling that he did in his past fights vs Aldo, but these numbers are hard to ignore. His 6 UFC wins have every totaled over 100 DK points. From latest fight to his introduction, all these are his DK scores: 107, 100, 129, 116, 107, and 115. That is pretty amazing. I believe he’s a fantastic prospect of upsetting the legend and possibly getting a finish for another score. I really don’t believe Aldo is a great matchup for him to show that 100+ stage ceiling however at $7.8k we do not need that lots of points. I believe IF he wins, he easily pays off that salary.
Fade of the week — Luana Carolina — $8,900
There’s absolutely no way I am paying $8.9k for Carolina. She’s the fade of the week and whether or not it disturbs me afterward it burns me. I really don’t see that being the case though even if she wins. I expect this fight to stay standing and that I don’t see her striking at a speed to cover off her price tag without obtaining a finish. I really don’t think she gets that complete so even when she wins I think she scores nearer to 75 DK points and in her wages which won’t wind up to the optimal lineup. Even if I create 150 lineups this week I will not get any exposure to Carolina.
